Marketplace Guide
Welcome to the Albion Online Tools Marketplace
Our marketplace lets Albion Online players post and browse player-to-player trade listings directly on this site, completely separate from the in-game market. You can list items you want to sell, post buy requests, and contact other traders through Discord.
Step-by-step overview
Register on Albion Online Tools and link your Discord account in Account Settings. Discord linking is required to post listings. It verifies you're a real player and lets buyers contact you directly.
The Global Market shows all active Sell Orders and Buy Orders from all servers. Use the search bar and filters to narrow results by item name, tier, server region, or order type.
A player has an item and wants silver for it. You contact them and buy it at their listed price.
A player wants to buy a specific item and is offering silver for it. You contact them and sell what they need.
Click any row on the market to open the full order page. There you'll see full item details, quality, location, server, and the seller's Discord tag. Copy or click their Discord to open a DM and arrange the trade directly in-game.
Go to Create Listing and fill in the form:
Visit My Inventory to see all your active orders. Once a trade is complete, delete the listing so other players know it's no longer available. You can also edit or re-post listings at any time.

How on-site chat works
Every order page has a built-in Contact Seller button. Clicking it opens a private, marketplace-linked chat conversation right here on the site, with no Discord or external app required.
From the Global Market, click any listing to open its order page. In the Seller Contact section you'll see a blue Contact Seller button. Clicking it creates a private chat conversation linked to that specific order and immediately takes you to your inbox.
Your conversation will appear under Market Chats in your Messages inbox, listed separately from regular Direct Messages. The order reference number is shown next to the chat so you always know which listing it belongs to.
Use the chat to confirm price, quantity, location, and a time to meet in-game. Once you've agreed, meet the seller in Albion Online and complete the trade using the in-game trade window. Never hand over items or silver outside of that window.
Once the seller marks the listing as Completed or Cancelled, the chat conversation is automatically locked, so no further messages can be sent. The conversation stays in your inbox under Closed Market Chats so you can review the message history.
What happens when someone messages you
When an interested buyer clicks "Contact Seller" on your listing, a chat conversation is automatically created and you'll receive a notification. Here's how to handle it from start to finish.
A red unread-count badge appears on the chat icon in the top navigation bar. Open your Messages inbox and find the conversation under Market Chats. Each market chat shows the order ID so you can identify which listing it's about.
Reply inside the chat to confirm the details, such as quantity available, meet time and place in-game. Once agreed, meet the buyer in Albion Online and complete the exchange through the in-game trade window.
After a successful trade you have two ways to close the listing:
Available inside the chat window via the Close Deal button, or on the order page itself. All open chats for that order are locked and a system message is sent to all buyers.
Found on the order detail page. Removes the listing from the market, locks all related chats, and redirects you back to the market index.
Inside any open chat you can also hit Close Chat to end just that one conversation without affecting the listing or other chats. Conversations can also be archived to keep your inbox tidy. Archived chats move to a separate section and can be unarchived at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The on-site chat requires you to be logged in. You can browse listings as a guest, but you'll need a free account (and Discord linked) to send a message to a seller.
All chat conversations tied to that order are automatically locked and no new messages can be sent. A system message is posted inside each conversation to inform all parties. The history remains readable in your inbox under Closed Market Chats.
It's the recommended and safest method since the conversation stays linked to the order. If the seller has a public Discord tag visible on their profile you may also reach out there, but on-site chat keeps a clear record and is preferred.
Each market chat in your inbox shows the order reference number (e.g. #42) next to the buyer's name. You can click into the chat and see the item name and order details in the chat header, so you'll always know which listing triggered the conversation.
No. This is a separate, player-run board hosted on Albion Online Tools. Listings here are not synced with the in-game black market or city markets. All trades still happen in-game.
No. We never handle silver or items. Trades happen directly between players in-game. We don't charge any listing fee or commission.
Discord linking prevents spam and bots, and gives buyers/sellers a reliable way to contact each other. Your Discord username is shown on your listing so interested parties can DM you directly.
Go to My Inventory and click the delete button on any completed order. Please remove listings promptly once a trade is done, as it keeps the market accurate for everyone.
Always use the in-game trade window, as this makes scams through item theft impossible. If a user is unresponsive or abusive, you can report them through our support system.
Listings remain active until you manually delete them or they expire. Check your listings regularly and remove ones that are no longer valid to maintain a trustworthy reputation.
